Minimize Print Failures with Simulation for Metal Additive Manufacturing
Minimize Print Failures with Simulation for Metal Additive Manufacturing
Additive manufacturing allows for the creation of complex, high performance parts that cannot be produced through conventional manufacturing methods. However, stress and distortion introduced by the printing process often leads to costly build failures and trial-and-error before parts are printed successfully.

In this webinar, you’ll learn about:
  • Benefits of using process simulation for metal additive manufacturing
  • How additive simulation can help you identify and mitigate common build failures
  • Experimental validation techniques used to prove model accuracy
  • How Autodesk Netfabb Simulation can help you save time and money by successfully printing parts faster

After Years of Hype, the Digital Factory Is Becoming Reality
After Years of Hype, the Digital Factory Is Becoming Reality
Why? It's "partly due to nimbler robotics and simulation, whose emergence has made the otherwise nebulous concept of the digital factory tangible for manufacturers," writes Sean Lyngaas, contributing editor of Smart Manufacturing. He cautions there is still uncertainty. "What is clear is that in the short term there will be growing pains and potentially big gains in efficiency and innovation for manufacturers that take the plunge into the digital factory."
